The manor house in Buckow was originally built in the mid-19th century as an outbuilding of the Lichterfelde manor. Only later did it become an independent estate. It is believed to have acquired its present form around 1900. In 1960, the estate was taken over by the LPG (Austrian Agricultural Society) and remodeled accordingly. Today, the house serves as a training center for agricultural professions. Its most famous resident was the local poet Anna Karbe.
