Celanova's main square has bars and restaurants and is a great place to start any adventure. Like many towns in the region, its origin is pre-Roman and it is located on the trade route between Portugal and Ourense. The most outstanding places are the Mosteiro de Celanova and the Chapel of San Miguel de Celanova.

The Miño river is tamed by two hydroelectric dams between Ribadavia and Cortogada creating the Filgueira dam where the river water slows down. Crossing the OU-801 by the new bridge you can see the old abandoned Filgueira Bridge.

Hot springs near the Mino river. Free public access to parking. You can choose between a paid spa or a wild swim in the hot springs near the river.

Between the cooling shade of the riverside trees, this is a nice and easy path along the Miño river between Ribadavia and the Arnoia river month.

Ribadavia is located at a strategic point in the Miño Valley, a wine trade route and an old Roman road where the Avia and Arnoia rivers meet the Miño. In the middle of a landscape surrounded by vineyards, the castle of Ribadaiva is a vestige of a defensive fortress dating from the Middle Ages.

Just outside the small town of Melón you will find the natural pools of Pozos de Melón created from the waterfalls of the Cerves River. Stop for a refreshing bath. Free parking near the main road.

Crossing the medieval bridge of San Clodio over the Avia River on your route between Leiro and Ribadavia. The three-arched masonry bridge spanning 85 m was built between 1496 and 1498.

Temple built in the 18th century and rebuilt in the 19th century. Its interior, completely covered in wood, stands out for having a major altarpiece of Baroque work.
