All of Camprodon is worth visiting!!!

An aqueduct carrying water from the mountains to irrigate the valley. Behind it lies an old carbide mine, which was abandoned with the spread of electricity in the early 20th century. Until then, carbide was used for lighting.

A beautiful mountain pass at 1,600 meters above sea level, located below the Tossal de la Collada Verda, which connects Camprodon with Ribes de Freser. The climb is mostly along a somewhat uneven and steep track.

Camprodon is a small town in the province of Girona with a long history behind it: it was taken and burned in several wars over the centuries. Today, it is a quiet place located in the valley where the Ter and Ritort rivers meet.

Very pretty mountain town

If you plan to pass through Sant Joan de les Abadesses, you have to plan a visit to the bridge and a photo of it from the new bridge where the road passes.

The Old Bridge of Sant Joan de les Abadesses was built in the 12th century. Although it had to be rebuilt in 1978 as it had been dynamited in 1939. The views of the Serra Cavallera from the bridge are spectacular.

From Vallter to Llanars you go along the road and with a lot of unevenness. Once in Llanars and up to Ripoll it is flat and suitable for all audiences.
