BEWARE - The Tunnel is not always lit. If you ride on any Via Verde that have tunnels long enough to be dark in sections, you need lights. There are 2 tunnels in the VV between Mula and Caravaca that are long. There are no buttons to press so they should be automatic. In the first no lights came on at all and in the second the lights only came on when I was in the middle. They should either be always on (solar) or come on via sensors, this did not happen.

A thermal paradise that is worth visiting. This pool contains warm water (but more cold than hot) that comes from the interior of the earth. The area is very quiet and full of vegetation. Find out before your visit in case the pool is dry. Suitable for swimming.

A charming natural park that is one of the main attractions of Caravaca del la Cruz. The area has its own microclimate, thanks to the water and a large number of animal and plant species can be observed. Do not miss the Cuevas del Marqués, artificial caves carved into the rock. In the Nature Interpretation Center, located in the so-called Torreón de los Templarios, you can learn about the history, flora, fauna, etc. Perfect to visit in autumn for the explosion of colors in the leaves of the trees.
