Highlight of the road between Colmenar Viejo and Guadalix de la Sierra. From here there is a path of a couple of kilometers that ascends to the summit of the San Pedro hill. There is also a parking lot where we find an old building with a sign indicating the distances to Colmenar and Madrid.

The peak of La Miel is a classic among hikers and climbers who visit Madrid. A short but challenging climb if you start in La Cabrera and when you reach the top you will only have to sit down to enjoy the incredible panoramic views at 1,392 meters above sea level. From here you can then follow the path until you reach Cancho Gordo, one of the highest peaks in the area.
