The dovecotes are spectacular, they almost look like small palaces in this beautiful town

Miño de Medinaceli is a small rural town in the province of Soria. You can park next to the community pools and start your walk. Climb up to see the ruins of a Moorish-occupied castle dating back to the 10th century and sitting on top of a hill above the city.

Near the town of Ambrona, we find this archaeological site and a museum with remains of the bones found in the area that go back to some 350,000 years in the past. We cannot say goodbye to the place without taking a photo with the replica of a mammoth (Palaeoloxodon antiquus) that we will see in the place. Free entrance. Closed Monday and Tuesday, except holidays.
