This majestic Cathedral, origin and foundation of the greatness of Sigüenza, is a living museum of art: Romanesque, Cistercian, Gothic, Renaissance, Plateresque, Baroque, Neoclassical... What was originally an Arab citadel, an extension of a small Visigothic castle and a Roman fort, is located at the top of Sigüenza.
