Once upon a time, this eco-track had tracks where wagons filled with stone from the quarries passed. Now it has become a scenic cycle path that starts from Porto de Mos.

What was once a railway line that transported coal from Minas da Bezerra to Porto de Mós is now a fascinating hiking trail. Along its route, the tunnels dug into the rock to allow the train to pass have become real attractions.

The old railway line that transported coal from the Bezerra mines to the Porto de Mós thermoelectric plant has been reborn as this modern eco-trail, perfect for walking or cycling. Along the route, viewpoints and picnic areas invite you to take breaks and enjoy the scenery.

The view from here over Cabeço da Fórnea and its valley is simply breathtaking. The climb to the top is very accessible and definitely worth the effort.
