This charming village with over 1,600 inhabitants has a very charming center, beautiful historic buildings, and charming steep alleys. Jerica is located in the Valencian Community in the province of Castellón at an altitude of 523 meters.

The Virgin of Pradas has many devotees in the area. Noteworthy is the procession that takes place in early spring between San Agustín and this hermitage. The castle belonged to the Escriche family for years. It has now been transferred to the San Agustín town council. Few remains of the castle remain, but the tower and the entrance arch are notable. We hope it will be rebuilt one day. Be sure to visit the bridge a little further down, as well as some of the surrounding abandoned villages.

It is worth climbing Santa Barbara Peak for its impressive views.

Beautiful and unexpected town in Alto Palancia with a historical complex and popular architecture declared an asset of cultural interest. Here you can visit its impressive Mudejar tower, the Castle and the Hermitage of San Roque among others. Jérica is ideal for a stop and get lost in its narrow streets that preserve the medieval spirit.

The Hermitage of the Virgen de Pradas was built in the fourteenth century and is located in the municipality of San Agustín next to the homonymous castle that is behind the hermitage. It is worth visiting both buildings with so much history behind them.
