Built in the 15th century, it is a magnificent example of medieval architecture in the province of Valladolid. Its imposing stone walls and its watchtower bear witness to its storied past. The view of and from its hermitage stands out, with a Mozarabic portal, dated in the 10th century, surrounded by cave houses, whose roof is formed by the layer of limestone that runs through the entire moorland at that height in that area. Small town in a valley of the Torozos páramo, on the Senda del claret. Interesting the small border hermitage to the church. A little above the main square, reach the Plaza de la Peña, where you can see an outcrop of the layer of limestone just over half a meter thick that can be found along the path, in the descents and ascents to the páramo, towards 780 m of height.
