Small town located at the foot of Sierra Morena, between the Guadalimar and Montizón rivers. Framed in a landscape of olive groves. The most outstanding monument of the town is the Castillo San Esteban of which only a watchtower remains.

A small town located at the foot of the Sierra Morena mountains. The town is surrounded by olive groves typical of the area that support the production of olive oil. Like many settlements in the area, Castellar dates back to prehistoric times, with historical finds from Iberian and Roman times.

Villacarrillo is a Spanish town and municipality located in the southwestern part of the Las Villas region, in the province of Jaén. It borders the municipalities of Santisteban del Puerto, Iznatoraf, Villanueva del Arzobispo, Santiago-Pontones, Santo Tomé, Úbeda (because of the enclave known as Rincón de Úbeda), and Sabiote. The Villacarrillense municipality includes the population centers of Villacarrillo, which holds the capital status of the region of Las Villas, Mogón, La Caleruela, Agrupación de Mogón and Arroturas.

A wonderful view of the valley just after Villanueva del Arzobispo (on the N-322 road towards Albacete). Unfortunately, the road is very busy and not very pleasant to drive on.
