Local tradition explains that the hermitage was subjected to strong flooding of the stream for years, to the point that some documents from the 19th century mention minor repairs “due to water damage”. Field blessings were also held there before the harvest, a common practice in the surrounding farmhouses. The final access is on foot, short and clear once you pass the chain. A discreet place, surrounded by forest and stream, which preserves the calm typical of the old points of rural devotion.

A small oasis nestled among fields and pines, where the still water reflects the sky like a mirror broken by frogs. This pond, once used for irrigation and livestock watering, has become a natural refuge for birds, dragonflies, and turtles. On calm days, only the buzzing of insects and the splashing of the occasional stray toad can be heard. A humble corner, yet teeming with life.

A small Romanesque gem hidden among vineyards and holm oaks on the outskirts of Argentona. Its origins date back to the 11th century, and it still retains part of its apse and original stone walls. The surroundings exude tranquility: only crickets and the wind rustling through the fields can be heard. From the threshing floor opposite the chapel, the views over the Maresme region are picture-perfect. A perfect spot for a short break and a long journey back in time.
