A medieval farmhouse extended between the 16th and 18th centuries, built taking advantage of the uneven ground, which allows direct entry from the ground floor. On the ground floor there is still a vaulted nave and an old walled-in voussoir portal, a reminder of its past as a livestock farmer. In front of the façade is the old barn and, a few metres away, the pond-washing area surrounded by oak trees that showed the self-sufficiency of the place. An elevated and silent point, ideal for understanding how these farmhouses were true hubs of life in Montseny.

A 10th-century fortress that controlled the passes between Montseny and Vallès. It had a main hall, a kitchen, and a cistern because there is no water at the top. Part of the castle was damaged by a medieval landslide, and from then on it functioned more as a lookout point and toll collection point than as a residence. It was also part of the fire and smoke signal network between the valleys. Abandoned since the 15th century, today only walls and sweeping vistas remain, explaining its strategic importance.

From the natural viewpoint of El Bellver, the church of Santa Maria de Tagamanent stands out against the sky like a still postcard. On clear days, the folds of the Montseny mountain range are visible, and if the wind blows, the bells seem to reach all the way here. The name “Bellver” says it all: beautiful view. A place to stand in silence, leave your bike aside, and watch as history and landscape intertwine.

Parking is difficult in the area after 10:00. The area is beautiful and has great views. You can take a practically flat route (Collformic to the ruins of El Café, but it's not circular), a more challenging one like Matagalls. And many more!
