Great route for beginners as has mainly constant and light slopes. Only half a dozen uphills the first 30 km from Pamplona.

It is a modest peak, but it is difficult to reach from the Izaskun neighbourhood. You have to be a little careful not to slip in the last few metres of the north face.

That bridge is called "INTUIA-ko zubia" the INTUIA farmhouse is next to it. The misnamed "witches' bridge" is called UNANIBI-ko zubia, right in the Otita park (beginning of the Leitzaran valley). Don't forget to bring lights to cross the numerous tunnels in this valley!! Not to see but to be seen.

Navarrese town located in the Larraun valley. Historically it has been a border place, and its own name, which means "new site", indicates that it was destroyed and rebuilt in 1430. It originally consisted of a palace and a defensive tower. It was also important for its customs activity already in the 12th century, since taxes were collected here from merchants who entered the Kingdom of Navarre. The Ayestaran hotel, opened in 1912, is one of the most emblematic businesses and buildings in the town, since famous people such as Ernest Hemingway, Orson Welles and Alcalá Zamora have stayed in its rooms.

Mount Uzturre (733 m.), bounded by the basins of the Oria and Leitzaran rivers, is the quintessential Tolosa ascent. A cross erected in 1927 characterizes it, however the summit is a little higher, hidden by trees and without views, which is why the most popular objective for the mountaineer is found on this cross.

The Plazaola greenway is a route that takes advantage of the route of an old narrow gauge railway, the Plazaola, which linked the Spanish towns of San Sebastián and Pamplona. An incredible route to travel by bicycle.
