The farm shop offers meat and sausages from Harz Red Mountain Cattle, Angler Saddleback pigs, and fresh eggs, as well as honey from regional beekeepers. All of these specialties and more are also available in the restaurant.

The hut looks more like a bus shelter (the route of the South Harz Railway also ran here), but the view of the Wurmberg and Brocken is really good
