Alto del Humilladero is a short but intense mountain pass, where the road climbs steeply through curves that test your legs. From its summit, you have a wide panoramic view that I'm sure you'll enjoy.

At the southeastern end of the Monfragüe National Park is the town of Deleitosa, surrounded by oak and chestnut forests. Stop by the center of town to rest, eat something and admire the church of San Juan Evangelista.

Nice climb to Puerto de Campillo, 2.75 km coming from the south side, it is not too long. The views from the top at 700 meters above sea level are gratifying. Prepare for the descent towards Campillo de Deleitosa.

In the foothills of the Los Ibores region is Castañar de Ibor, on the road from Guadalupe to Navalmoral de la Mata.

A small bridge over the Almonte river. Crossroads towards the Cabañas del Castillo. Surrounded by the huge cliffs and rock formations of the Villuercas Ibores La Jara Geopark.

An incredible fortress rose from the rocky cliffs. Muslim fortress from the 12th century, built to monitor and control the trade route between the Sierra de Ortijuela and the Berzocana river valley. The views are spectacular.

Go up the EX-118 highway to get a magnificent view of the town of Guadalupe and the surrounding landscape from this high point. Do not forget to visit the Hermitage of Humilladero.
