Masia rural a mig camí entre el cim del Tagamanent i el Figaró, seguint el camí de Vallcàrquera

A small hillock covered in pines and scrubland, offering a commanding view of much of the valley. Its name, some say, comes from the shape of the rock at the summit, which resembles a huge molar emerging from the earth. On clear days, the horizon opens up towards Montseny and the sea, and when the tramontana wind blows, the rustling of the trees sounds like a green sea. A discreet spot, yet with the soul of a viewpoint.

Can Plans is a rural ecotourism accommodation in a farmhouse rehabilitated in a way that is respectful and sustainable with the environment. It has three rooms that are rented individually and serve organic meals. In the house there is a farm and an orchard. Can Plans is located on the outskirts of the Figaró-Montmany district, within the Montseny Natural Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve. The project to recover the farmhouse and its surroundings follows the ancient principle of self-management of its own and surrounding resources, but taking advantage of new technologies and respecting the environment and conservation. Can Plans offers three rooms (two doubles and one duplex) with a total of nine beds and capacity for 11 people, as well as a study room. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and organic cuisine lunches and dinners are also served. The house has heating, air conditioning and wifi.

The project to recover the Masia de Can Plans and its surroundings has been carried out with the old principle of the farmhouse, that is, with the self-management of its own resources and the surroundings. But also as we are now in the 21st century: in "5.0" version. taking advantage of new technologies without interfering with the original construction and preserving the environment. Respecting them and ensuring their conservation, all with the aim of guaranteeing the best coexistence with its inhabitants and their guests. All the rooms and re-constructive actions in the building have been made with materials of the time: stone, lime, wooden beams, hydraulic floors, among others. Elements recovered mainly from demolitions and from the nearby red stone quarry of Figaró. Treated with water-based varnishes and paints, ecological, without phenolic glues and other aggressive chemical agents.
