Beautiful castle with an interesting past.

Beautiful, secluded location in the heart of the Tollense Valley, surrounded by farmland and meadows. I'm already looking forward to its completion and opening.

Broock Castle, once the social center of the region and the largest private stud farm in Western Pomerania, will be expanded into a supra-regional conference and cultural center in the coming years. Since May 2023, our guests will be served in the new village shop with café-bistro and beer garden.

Very beautiful hall church, built around the year 1600.

Nice place for a short break. You could park your car very close to the bridge and start and end your bike tour or hike there. (October 2024)

Pure nature, you are completely alone. The meadows are cultivated. It smells of summer.

The castle is located near the original border between Mecklenburg and Western Pomerania, which ran a few kilometers south and east at the Kleiner and Großer Landgraben. It was one of a series of fortifications that protected the crossings over the Tollense between Altentreptow and Demmin (Broock, Burg Osten, Haus Demmin). Nice little and well-prepared market...not far from the Fritz Reuter House and the church. We can recommend the Markt Cafe.
