In my opinion, this is the most difficult section in the Gauchach. The trail climbs slightly, and there's a rocky section where you have to climb or descend sideways. I walked up the gorge in July 2025, one day after heavy rain. Since the wooden walkway was gone and parts of the path had broken out and were muddy (of course only where it was most dangerous), it was really tricky to walk. And every time you think it can't get any worse...but in the end it was great.
