Spectacular stretch of trail 738 for running!

The Niu de l'Àliga Refuge is located at an altitude of 2,500 meters at the top of Tosa d'Alp, in the municipality of Bagà. This refuge is an iconic building at the highest point of the La Molina ski resort and offers spectacular views of the Cerdanya valley, Ripollès, and Berguedà. It is a privileged spot to enjoy sunsets and moonlit nights. The refuge has capacity for 27 people and offers services such as a cable car, blankets, showers, mobile charging, Wi-Fi, a bar, and a restaurant.

Beautiful village, in the middle of the Pyrenees

It is a very narrow road, with the asphalt in perfect condition, that connects Sanavastre with Fontanals. I usually use it as part of my journey to Puigcerdà / France from Prats as alternatives to the 2 main roads with a lot of traffic (the one that goes through Alp and the national road that comes from Bellver de Cerdaña). Highly recommended because it also has very good views.

Rural road from Sarravastre towards Bollvir, avoiding the main roads. It allows you to observe the two landscapes of Cerdanya, the rural one, farms, livestock, and the playful and luxurious, golf courses. Following the rural road you can make a complete turn around the Altiplà and reach Puigcerdà.

Alp is a municipality located in the valley of the Alp river. Surrounded by the high Pyrenean mountains, Alp is a popular destination for practicing all kinds of mountain sports, especially skiing. Near the town is Alp 2500, which includes the ski resorts of La Molina and Masella. In the town, the Torre de Riu stands out, an old fortification transformed into a neo-Gothic castle.

Church of Romanesque origin, but greatly enlarged during the 18th century. Of a nave with a barrel vault, closed by a smooth semicircular apse. A few meters away, an accommodation and a restaurant with terraces have been built by an individual.
