Caution! Approaching Irumugarrieta Peak from the south, you have to climb a serious, vertical wall. Unfortunately, with a dog, we had to give up here and fought our way down cross-country through the undergrowth. The other way around, it probably won't work with a dog even without abseiling. The tour is still very beautiful, but I wouldn't do the special descent again.

Summit accessible from the Lizarieta pass. Of an easy level, one can either make the round trip from the pass to the summit ± 4 km and 220 m D+ or make this loop. At the summit a breathtaking view of the Atlantic coast and the Rhune.

The mountain of Ciboure is full of legends and traditions. One of them explains in an obscure way that the little blue chapel, which we see on the way down, would have been built in one night by strange characters. The Basque name for this mountain is Ziburu Mendi.
