Nice lap and quiet road

The Torre del Salvador in Teruel is an impressive example of Aragonese Mudejar architecture, built in the 14th century. This bell tower was erected next to the church of El Salvador and is known for its Almohad minaret structure, with two concentric square towers between which the stairs are located. The tower stands out for its rich ornamentation, which includes mixtilinear arches, glazed ceramics in green and white colors, and decorative friezes. In addition, it is one of the few Mudejar towers that can be visited in Teruel, offering panoramic views from its bell tower. In 1986, the Torre del Salvador was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, recognizing its historical and architectural value.

This church, referred to here as the "Iglesia Modernista", with the title (patronage) "San SALVADOR" was not dedicated to one of the many people we venerate as blessed or saints and ask for their heavenly intercession with God. Rather, it is dedicated to the incarnate Son of God, Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Savior.

This lagoon is surrounded by a leafy Rodeno pine, along with junipers, oaks, junipers and other natural elements. Its water level depends on snowmelt and rain, and together with the Bezas lagoon, it is one of the most important wetlands in the Sierra de Albarracín. The Bezas Lagoon is the largest lagoon in the Albarracín mountain range. It extends through the municipalities of Bezas and Albarracín, within the Protected Landscape of the Pinares de Rodeno. This beautiful lagoon presents lacustrine vegetation conditioned by significant fluctuations in water level. Surrounded by pleasant hills covered with Rodeno pine and juniper trees, Bezas Lagoon is a very charming place located at about 1,235 meters above sea level. If you have the opportunity to visit it, you will fall in love with its natural beauty and picturesque surroundings. 😊
