privileged environment between Huerta and Arauzo

On a hiking route around the area we visited this beautiful dam where you can see a large number of aquatic species.

Beautiful Brinnen and ideal for resting

Artificial pond near the town of Arauzo de Salce where the Aranzuelo river and the Bañuelos river pass. In order to regulate its flow, and additionally for irrigation, fish farming and recreational uses, in 2006 the reservoir was built at the confluence of both rivers.

The route itself runs along some cliffs on the outskirts of the town, it is a short road with a horizontal crossing. With the one on the Pasarela de Espeja and the one on the Camino del Infierno, it forms a very interesting trio of via ferrata.

Highly recommended, also if you don't have equipment, don't risk it, contact Pedrete Guiados or Discover Pinares, and they will make things easier for you.

It is recommended to wear suitable equipment.

Once you have reached Mamolar, you have to turn left towards Peñacoba, if we continue straight on we will arrive at the national highway taking a long detour to reach Silos, it is easy to get disoriented between the wonderful views and the smell of green mountains.
