Torrox, located in the province of Malaga, Andalusia, is known for its slogan “the best climate in Europe”, with an average annual temperature of 18°C and more than 300 days of sunshine a year.  The municipality is divided into two main areas: Torrox Pueblo, which preserves traditional Andalusian architecture with narrow streets and whitewashed houses, and Torrox Costa, which offers beaches such as Ferrara and El Morche, popular with residents and visitors.  In addition, it has a rich historical heritage, including archaeological remains from the Roman era in the area of the Faro de Torrox.  The local gastronomy stands out for traditional dishes such as migas, ensaladilla arriera and ajoblanco, reflecting the rich culinary heritage of the region.  Torrox celebrates various festivals throughout the year, including the Día de las Migas, celebrated on the Sunday before Christmas, where you can taste typical dishes and enjoy cultural activities.
