Via a ramp located on the pedestrian promenade, we access this curious cove, where the rocks are filled with remains of underwater vegetation that guarantee healthy seabeds full of life. Next to Calalga Park, with fine sand and pebbles.

For older people with an average condition it is still quite hard there are still certain obstacles. We did not reach the top because the last part really had to be done with hands and feet we went back the same path which was also quite tough. The view and the nature were great.

It is worth doing the complete Bèrnia circular route, which also includes the Bèrnia Fort. This route is a little longer and more demanding, but it will allow you to enjoy the views and nature even more. I hope you enjoy this nature experience! 😊🏞️

The Forat de Bèrnia is an impressive place in the Sierra de Bèrnia, located in the Valencian Community, Spain. This natural tunnel, about 15 to 20 meters long, crosses the mountain range from north to south. At its widest entrance, it offers panoramic views of Altea, the Serra Gelada and the Mediterranean.
