Benigembla International Mosta d’Art Urbà, 약칭 BIMAU는 알리칸테 지방의 La Marina Alta 지역에 있는 Benigembla 마을의 거리를 색채와 창의성으로 채우는 도시 예술 행사입니다. 축제 기간 동안 이 작은 마을에서는 다양한 행사가 열리며, 건물 외벽이 벽화로 변모하고 마을 전체가 야외 박물관으로 탈바꿈합니다. 이것은 공간과 사람들을 연결하는 문화 프로젝트입니다. 선정된 벽은 BIMAU 벽화 작업을 위해 자신의 건물 외벽을 제공한 주민들의 소유입니다. 이 벽들은 마을의 본질을 반영하는 풍경과 장면으로 장식됩니다. 이로써 가장 전형적인 거리에는 다양한 스타일의 현대 미술 작품이 전시되어 흥미로운 대조를 이룹니다.

Beautiful route paved paths

The Església de Sant Josep is a neoclassical church, built in stages: the bell tower in 1833, the main building in 1895, and the interior in 1913, with subsequent restorations, including the restoration and decoration of the bell tower in 1994. It has a cruciform floor plan with barrel vaults and domes in the chapels and houses a collection of religious statues, including the patron saint statue of Saint Joseph, created after the Civil War. There are eight altars plus the main altar. Saint Joseph is the current patron saint of Benigembla (previously, it was La Purísima).
