Near the end of the stream section, the concrete blocks covering the stream are as of September 2025 completely missing, leaving you two options forward: 1) walk on a 20cm wide path right next to a big cliff, 2) walk inside of the stream bed, knee-deep in water. We decided to turn back because it did not seem safe for us. Caution recommended!

People suffering from vertigo should avoid... It's not wide at all in places.

That bridge is called "INTUIA-ko zubia" the INTUIA farmhouse is next to it. The misnamed "witches' bridge" is called UNANIBI-ko zubia, right in the Otita park (beginning of the Leitzaran valley). Don't forget to bring lights to cross the numerous tunnels in this valley!! Not to see but to be seen.

Beautiful hiking route claiming the Endara Valley surrounded by dense forests and streams on the eastern slope of the Aiako Harria massif.

Nice climb up a very quiet road, which runs through a leafy forest, although from time to time the landscape opens up and you can admire the views of the valley and the Endara reservoir. The slope from Endara is 4.2 kilometers long, with an average gradient of 6.8%. Around kilometer 3 is when the hardest percentages are found, around 8 and 10%. If you go up from Lesaka the climb is twice as long, but it doesn't really start to get steep until the second kilometer. In any case, it is not a very steep climb until the last kilometer, where there are ramps of up to 11%.

Place very close to the Ola cider house, it is usually very crowded, the ruins are very good and are the starting point to visit the lower part of the Aitzondo waterfall along a very beautiful route, or by going up the always demanding Enbido, see the part waterfall or enter the Aiako Harria natural park

The Irugurutzeta ovens constitute the largest battery of ovens in Gipuzkoa and one of the most important in the Basque Country. After being calcined, the iron ores were loaded onto the wagons and from there they left for the Kostorbe station in the Irun neighborhood of Mendibil. From there, they were transported to Hendaye (for subsequent export to other areas of France, such as Bayonne or the Landes, and even to other countries such as Belgium, Germany or England), and to the ports of Pasaia, Bilbao... Their destination was the Blast Furnaces.

This bridge is part of the Plazaola greenway and is known as the "witches' bridge". A well-known place for the inhabitants of the area. Quiet place where you can see the river, fishermen... it has some tables nearby to eat and spend the day.
