Today we walked this route we discovered on Komoot. Along the way, we encountered several sections where the path was blocked or damaged. With this updated .gpx file, you all now have an improved version of this beautiful hike.

It's worth going up the castle just for the views that accompany us along the way. I recommend entering from Eret Park. P.S. Admission to the castle is free :)

Nice trip

Towers over the city and is a great destination on foot (a good 160 meters high) or for a few euros by elevator or taxi. The Santa Barbara Castle dates back to the 11th century and has been expanded or rebuilt several times in the years since. Great promenade with attractive floor tiles. Lots of souvenir stalls and cafes.

The Pantano de Elche is a historic reservoir that holds back the waters of the Vinalopó River. Its construction began in 1632 and, although it has suffered several damages over the years, it remains a place of interest.

Great view but the descent after the paraglider take-off point is very dangerous

Brilliant view at the lighthouse. The best time and best view is in the afternoon, as you then have the sun behind you with a view of the sea. Otherwise you're looking at the sun 🌞 and the photos don't turn out particularly well when backlit.
