A must-visit is the small medieval village of Rupit, dating back to the 15th century! Every little alley, every side path is worth exploring... some of the steps were even naturally formed by lava. I've never seen anything so impressive before. The entire village is a listed monument.

In the Garrotxa Natural Park there are about 40 catalogued volcanoes with 10 well-preserved explosion craters. The Volcá del Croscat is a highly explosive Strombolian volcano. The eruption took place around 9,500 BC. It is the last volcano to erupt in the Garrotxa volcanic area and also in the Iberian Peninsula. It is a very pleasant port on both sides since it is very bearable, always with ramps of around 5%. It is used in the Terra de Remences march. It has 2 rest areas. It is an open climb, with mostly panoramic views. At first, a lot of views on the Plan de Vic. The northern slope, which starts from the Vall d'en Bas, is 11 km long and has hardly any views, almost always in the shadow of the vegetation and the gorge through which the road climbs. It has several horseshoe curves that give it the appearance of more of a mountain pass. We visited with a tour guide who explained everything in an interesting and informative way. It's a great place to visit on your own, but with a guide you can really learn a lot.
