The Mirador de los Cronistas de España is also known as the Mirador de la Plaza de la Iglesia. It is located in the Alicante and Mediterranean town of Altea. Between 24 and 27 October 2002, the XXVIII National Congress of the Royal Spanish Association of Official Chroniclers took place in Altea. On the last day of the Congress, with the lights of the autumn sunset, a plaque was inaugurated giving the name to what we know today as the Mirador Cronistas de España, from which you can perfectly see the bay of Altea and part of its old town, as well as the church just behind it.
