Beautiful MTB tour uphill with the reward of a great view and a brisk descent.

Just don't drive on weekends and vacation times. Then there are so many hikers and families with small children on the single trail that it's no longer fun to go up to the plateau. I have to note that I had these experiences there on a Sunday in November.

The forest track runs along the sunny side of Lloma Larga, with to the west the peaks of Tossalet del Catellet and Tossal de Navarro and to the east the marvelous views of the Costa Blanca near Calpe. An entertaining route for several kilometers with a surface in good condition, a sustained slope of about 10% with somewhat steeper sections that require a little more power but at the same time allows you to enjoy the beautiful views throughout the route until you reach the viewpoint. of the Tossal del Navarro.

We started at Armanello Campsite and the first 6 miles were road work which we could have avoided. After that the tour was great with some good technical parts. Definitely a good intermediate plus Trail.

Very picturesque and entertaining path that allows you to reach the Fort de Bernia. It is a trail designed for hiking but it can be ridden on a mtb although it has some technical sections with a lot of loose stones and the slope to overcome is high so it can be done without rushing... the views are totally amazing once you get there to the ruins of the fort. The most picturesque and entertaining section is the one that runs through the Morro del Penyal next to the cliff with impressive views. Totally recommended for both mtb and hiking!

The trail is absolutely doable! The MTB S0 classification is actually appropriate, and in places it changes to S1, but without any further difficulty. Partly a “cycle path”.
