We hiked here from Luc Alcari on April 7, 2025. The path was no longer well secured at that point. Under no circumstances should you rely solely on the railing, as the upper railing of one of them fell off when my son leaned on it. So, be careful! From Cala Deja, the path is now signposted as follows: No access. Private and dangerous.

If you want to walk the GR221 and are perhaps a little too careless like me, then here's a small note: It's Mallorca, it's the Mediterranean, yes, but it often gets really cold at night and rain comes unexpectedly, so definitely pack a decent sleeping bag (an emergency bivvy for cowboy camping), trekking poles are an absolute MUST in these conditions and most importantly, wherever you can, take enough (around 3 L) water with you for every day. Then nothing can go wrong on this fantastic tour ;-)

The name "Sa Foradada" means "the holed one" in German and aptly describes this spectacular rock formation between Deja and Valldemossa. The large hole in the rock formation in Mallorca, which is about 25 meters wide, was formed over millions of years by erosion from the sea and wind.
