The Parque de la Isla in Plasencia is one of the main green lungs of the city and a perfect place to enjoy nature. Located in the urban section of the Jerte River, the park is a river island that stretches for almost 4 kilometers.

This medieval city has a lot to offer you. The Roman aqueduct, the medieval wall and the cathedral are some of its jewels that you can visit.

From here, you can see the Jerte reservoir nestled between the Gordo and Camocho mountains. The views are immense.

At the top of the Sierra del Gordo on the side that touches Plasencia we find the Ermita de la Virgen del Puerto which gives us beautiful views of the city and the Jerte Reservoir.

On the inner bank of the Jerte River, this panoramic path has been built that allows you to cross it from the dam of the reservoir almost in its entirety after passing through the city of Plasencia. A very crowded itinerary and without any difficulty.

The reservoir was built on the bed of the Jerte River a few kilometers from the urban center of Plasencia. It is a beautiful place that also has this panoramic path of almost 10 kilometers in length that runs next to it. It is an ideal place to practice sports or have a good time next to the reservoir.
