Cala Granadella is a beautiful, small cove on the Costa Blanca near Jávea (Xàbia). The cove, with its crystal-clear, turquoise waters, is surrounded by impressive cliffs and Mediterranean vegetation, offering a breathtaking natural backdrop. The beach is made of small pebbles rather than sand. It can get very crowded during peak season, so it's worth arriving early. Nearby are restaurants serving fresh seafood and Spanish specialties.

Very popular (and therefore busy in high season) bay. Outside the beach season there are far fewer bathers & cars and the beautiful descent and climb is absolutely worth it!

Suggest diving in any conditions, the water is crystal clear, but the beach is gravelly - be ready. On the summer weekends, it is crowded as hell, but there are a few restaurants, where you can eat and refill your bottles

Spectacular cliffs and rock formations on the coast of Jávea (Xàbia). Cap Prim, also known as Cap de Sant Martí, is one of the most beautiful stretches of coast on the northern Costa Blanca. It is a perfect place to take a relaxing walk in nature and enjoy the impressive views of the Mediterranean coast. The bay of Portitxol is bordered by Cap Prim to the north and Cap Negre to the south. In the hot months, it is recommended to take a relaxing short walk with a detour to the beach. The area around Cap Prim is an excellent destination for this. A short but very beautiful path leads from the Cruz del Portitxol (Creu del Portitxol) to the cliffs of Cap Prim. It starts at the point where the road from Portitxol (CV-742) and Carrer Illa meet.

Nowadays they are actually just monuments to a long tradition of craftsmanship: the heavy millstones were moved solely using the power of the wind as driving energy and, for example, grains were ground into flour (grain mills) or oil was pressed from olive fruits (oil mills). Sometimes - although rarely - the windmills also had the function of a pumping station and transported water to a higher level. But Miguel de CERVANTES (1547 to 1616) also set a literary monument to the technical monument of the Molinos: the most famous figure of the author, who is considered the national poet of Spain and whose work can certainly be valued as world literature: “Don QUIXOTE”, also known as “Knight “of the sad figure” and always accompanied by his loyal squire Sancho Panza, in one of the fictional stories he fights a - of course hopeless - battle against windmills in which he believes he recognizes four-armed giants.

A nice picnic area in the shade with a great view. There is a path leading to the cliffs. On a clear day, Cullera is visible.

Only the first part up from the harbor is a bit strenuous. The rest is promenade with plenty of views. If you only want to visit the mills briefly, there is a small parking lot. From the mills down to Javea there are 3 options. One is marked, the others are not.

Cap de Sant Antonio can only be reached via a narrow road from both Denia and Javea. As a cyclist you inevitably cause a traffic jam! Dangerous overtaking maneuvers by completely annoyed drivers! The view is wonderful, when the weather is clear you can see Ibiza (if you know where the east is :))
