Cain de Valdeon or Cain de Abajo (the new lower village) is idyllically situated at the beginning of the Ruta del Cares. The route that can be driven on by car ends there and you can only continue on foot. For safety reasons, bicycles are also forbidden on the route of the Ruta. In the village there are many rest stops and beautiful motifs.
