The Hermitage of San Cosme and San Damián is located in an impressive natural setting near the Vadiello reservoir, in the Sierra de Guara. It is known for its beauty and for being part of a hiking route that is suitable for all audiences. The excursion to this hermitage and other nearby ones such as San Urbez, Fuensanta and Virgen de Fabana, is of moderate effort and is perfectly signposted. 🌄😎🚶♀️

The conjuraderos are small religious constructions typical of Aragon where, in the past, the priests of the towns officiated ceremonies to ward off storms or evil spirits. Currently, they are curious shady buildings very well located in natural spaces.

The Calcón Reservoir is also known as the Guara Dam because it is in the heart of the Natural Park of the same name. It is a relatively young reservoir, completed in 1995, although it was really projected since 1910. It is fed by the waters of the Calcón River and also the Formiga River, through a tunnel.

This idyllic and solitary spot formed by the water of the reservoir, the river itself and its ravines and the monumental mallos that surround it, is a must-see for anyone who wants to get to know the Guara Natural Park and enjoy nature and silence. just fifteen minutes from the city of Huesca.
