The Neck de Belvezet is a rather strange geological curiosity, it is a resurgence of a volcanic chimney. Placed on the GR65 from Aubrac to St Chely it is a beautiful place. Many hikes converge there. Its name means Bellevue/Beauvoir, indeed from the promontory there is a very beautiful panorama towards the south.

Nice view of the Château d'Estaing dating from the 13th century with its pentagonal keep. Turning your head, you can see the Lot and the Gothic bridge that spans it. On the other side, the Coussane is a stream that feeds the Lot.

The village is now listed as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, with for example a magnificent bridge spanning the river since the 15th century.
