The Neck de Belvezet is a rather strange geological curiosity, it is a resurgence of a volcanic chimney. Placed on the GR65 from Aubrac to St Chely it is a beautiful place. Many hikes converge there. Its name means Bellevue/Beauvoir, indeed from the promontory there is a very beautiful panorama towards the south.

Nice view of the Château d'Estaing dating from the 13th century with its pentagonal keep. Turning your head, you can see the Lot and the Gothic bridge that spans it. On the other side, the Coussane is a stream that feeds the Lot.

The exact origin of the Château du Bousquet is uncertain (13th or 14th century) but one thing is certain: this castle is magnificent and extremely well preserved.

The castle and pilgrims' bridge date from the 15th century. The town is one of the "plus beau villages de France," the most beautiful villages in France. The Gothic church, with a Baroque interior, also dates from the 15th century and houses the relics of Saint Fleuret, the town's patron saint.

A village with its well-preserved medieval houses, the small castle and the narrow streets makes a very sympathetic impression.
