Beautiful forest path in Foret Mormal.

Here the cycle path along the Sambre is good for cycling. Unfortunately, it is not always like this.

Located to the east of the territory of the country of Mormal, it is the largest forest massif in the North. This magnificent reservoir of biodiversity offers nature lovers a privileged place to observe fauna and flora. Its century-old oak trees shelter the only population of deer in the department.

The Sambre is a pretty river which flows from France towards Belgium to flow into the Meuse. Its original winding route has been modified and some of its meanders have been rectified throughout its history. Its towpaths offer beautiful strolls in the Avesnois bocage.

Yes and no. Nice because they agreed to make me a sandwich for the road (while on gravel), but less nice because it's with meat or nothing... Chelou. Well, nothing. THANKS. That said, we eat very well there (restaurant style, even without meat).

Inn at the crossroads of the forest allowing you to take a break.
