Narrow, very busy road...dangerous in places...a magnificent site apart from that

Very beautiful road with a view of the Aqueduct

On the heights of the Durance, you can see the Luberon massif stretching to the north. The dirt road leading there is pleasant to climb. The hilly terrain to the south of the valley is perfect for mountain biking.

The devil is in the tail! The last 1km sections between 16-20%. On the other side, be careful and don't go too fast. The ambulance that came towards me almost took me away...

The Roquefavour aqueduct is 393 m long and has a maximum height of 82.65 m. It is part of the Canal de Marseille. It is located almost entirely in the municipality of Ventabren and has recently been restored.

The architecture of the aqueduct is a true masterpiece of construction engineering. The pleasantness of the landscape and the possibility of taking a nice swim at the foot of the aqueduct are also another positive aspect.

The Col de Sainte Anne de Lambesc is 3.9 km long with a total drop of 228 m. The average gradient is 5.8% with maximum gradients of 13.7%. The steepest slopes arrive in the last 900 meters.
