Very beautiful panorama on the Hautes Alpes side

Located at an altitude of 660 meters and leaning against the Pignolette rock, the village of Serres dominates the valley and its river. This small medieval town boasts some treasures: the arcaded square, the sculpted doors, the Romanesque church... As you stroll through its streets, you discover its rich history.

To reach the pass, it takes around fifteen kilometers from the Oule valley. The slope becomes steeper from Montmorin where it is around 6%. The road winds between the mountains of Chauvet and Maraysse. The position offers a splendid view of these two mountains.

Also called Montagne de l'Aup, Le Duffre is located at an altitude of 1,757 meters and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and valleys!

The Col de Carabès from Valdrôme is 9.7km long with an average gradient of 4.9%. From Sigottier the climb is 10.5km with an average gradient of 5.15%.

Climb done from la Faurie, starts with a long section of false flat to Montbrand around Creyers, a tough section of sometimes 10%, then another gentle section and the last 3 km with a few hairpin bends up at a percentage of around 6%. Col from La Beaume shorter but much steeper.
