The village has had its Church of Saint Thomas since 1269, built by Andrea Malaspina. Amidst its arcades and numerous so-called "venelles," it houses a 16th-century image of the Virgin and Child, a 17th-century holy water font, and a marble statue of Saint Anthony the Baptist, discovered near Lozari. The latter, coveted by several communities, was therefore transported by oxen on a cart across the region and given to the village where the animals first stopped.

From the dam, you can admire a magnificent view of the lake with the mountains in the background, but the best way to explore it is to walk around it along the dirt tracks.

This secluded trail is ideal for admiring the Corsican Regional Natural Park in 360 degrees. The playful and rolling route offers numerous viewpoints of the surrounding peaks such as the Cima di Luda and the Cima di u Cugnolu.

Olmi-Cappella is a small town nestled among powerful torrents, chestnut trees, holm oaks, and rocks. While this natural setting serves as a backdrop for numerous hikes, Olmi's main attractions remain the church and its dolmens.

This superb trail alternates between gravel sections and more rocky, technical passages. It immerses you in a wild setting worthy of the Atlas Mountains, with the added bonus of seemingly out-of-this-world views of the sea.
