From the edge of the trail you can access this ruin of an old abandoned fort.

This is where you enter the trails and paths that crisscross the Reginu Valley. This gateway is your gateway to very wide, open dirt roads that offer incredible terrain for mountain biking (and gravel riding).

Lake Codole is one of the highest lakes in Corsica. Its banks are classified as a Natura 2000 area, a protected area that provides refuge for numerous bird species. From the dam, you can admire a magnificent view of the lake with the mountains in the background, but the best way to explore it is to walk around it along the dirt tracks.

If you love horses and the Wild West, the ochre grounds of this ranch will take you on a journey. Don't hesitate to walk around to the entrance to ask if a ride is available. This will be an opportunity to swap your bike seat for another one and discover the surroundings in a different way.

Don't resist! The warm sand, the sea, the landscape, everything invites you to take a break and enjoy this idyllic setting.

This short single track, bordered by dry stone walls, offers a lovely shaded section. The terrain is gentle in places and more technical at times, with large stones in the middle of the trail.

The charming little village of Occiglioni is worth a detour for many reasons. Its stone streets, typical of the Corsican maquis, give it a certain charm, and the shaded cafés are ideal for a refreshing break. Don't forget to enjoy the views from the village terraces.

A popular meeting place for road cyclists and mountain bikers. Here, you can fill your water bottle with genuine Zilia water—slightly chilled, too. Last year, I spoke to a local about the water quality of the fountain. He said it had been tested and was of drinking quality. This was a welcome stop on my leg of the route from Calvi to San Antonino. Further up in the town of Zilia, there's a very small corner shop with a small but very good selection of fruit.
