From Borntin north to the edge of the forest, the road has now been repaired and is in good condition. The next 2 km to the L31, however, are extremely poor, with nothing but holes and patches. Continuing the repair work (affecting the entire county road from Kavelpass via Zinzow) is planned, however.

The Anklam market has turned out really well. Bakeries, ice cream, pizza, etc. galore, and the market square is beautifully designed.

The origins and development of the town of Löwitz near Anklam are inextricably linked to the history of the von Schwerin family. Löwitz was owned by this noble family, which had a wide range of branches throughout Western Pomerania, from 1533 until its expulsion and expropriation following World War II, and is thus considered one of the oldest family estates. Hans Graf von Schwerin had the manor house built around 1880 in the Neo-Renaissance style, although some parts of the building were older. Very poor road surface, barely passable.

The green oasis of our Hanseatic city has been revitalized in recent years. Wild growth has been removed, the animal enclosures, the pond, the drainage and the paths have been renewed. The main paths have been permanently paved with asphalt with consideration for older people and people with disabilities. Since then, the city park has enjoyed great popularity among young and old from all parts of Anklam. This facility must continue to be looked after and cared for.

The Catholic Church of St. Salvator was built in the neo-Romanesque style in 1900/01 for the Polish and Silesian seasonal workers who worked in the fields around Anklam. The church was built on a silted branch of the Peene, which would have required a complex pile foundation for a tower. Instead she got a roof turret.

Until 2000, old prefabricated buildings still stood on the market square. By 2018, excavations had secured the foundations of the old town hall, which was located in the middle of the square. The prefabricated buildings were demolished and replaced by typical market buildings. The market square has inscriptions in the ground that reflect the history of Anklam and the Greifenbrunnen was placed in the middle of the square. Over the last 20 years, the market square has developed into a very beautiful central square!
