This mountain pass is named after one of the great aviation pioneers of France. There are several ways to reach this pass, but whichever you choose, you will always have a beautiful view from this place.

Cafe / Resto at the bottom. Nothing at the top. The road has just been resurfaced so the descent is great. Be careful though, especially in the wet as water drains across the surface in places, typically on or just before the corners. Plenty of coffee and cake in Chabeuil. If you wanted to add a bit more you could descend to Beaufort-sur-Gervanne, which is a good option if the boulangerie is open, or loop across the top from Cavalli to Col des Limouches. It's over 1000 meters altitude and the descent is more technical. Some shaded picnic tables too.

The discovery trail allows everyone to discover nature marked by history. Duration: 1h30. It offers a remarkable view of the Valence plain, but also the possibility of discovering the ruins of the castle, in particular the keep. It offers several stages which allow us to understand the Alpine uplift, the fauna and flora or the rock of central Pangea. This rock takes the hiker back some 240 million years when all the continents were one. Today it still symbolizes the center of the original world.

Part of the officially signposted Route Crest No. 27 "Kamikaze". A beautiful trail descent starts here. The highlight is called "Trail without end"

At its height, the tower of Barcelona would have dominated the plains of Valence and the Rhône valley below. It is believed to have been built in the 11th or 12th century, but was destroyed in 1630 by order of Louis XIII; there remains the tower and part of the surrounding walls.

Beautiful small pass road, little traffic, but no regular incline. Some fine gravel on the road, not without danger on a racing bike.

Fairly narrow descent. Not many cars that's another advantage
