I came here during a bikepacking trip and haven't regretted it. Beautifully situated, clean, and in warm weather, the small lake is a great place to cool off. The small grocery store in the cupboard with the essentials for emergencies is great and makes you smile. Search for campinglesizoard when looking for the site's website.

Beautiful mountain lake surrounded by larches located at 1850 meters above sea level. The only mountain visible from the lake is the Pic de Rochebrune - if you are looking for a panoramic view, two belvederes near the lake, offer you superb views of the Guil valley and the Combe du Queyras.

I advise you to take the time to enjoy the place and the lake. It's just very beautiful, especially when the water is calm to observe the reflection of the mountains in the water. a very well-known place in the region. It's a must-see for photography fans.

In a Canadian-style setting, Lac de Roue is one of the few Queyras lakes to be surrounded by larches (endemic pines of the Briançon region). In addition to the inevitable romanticism of the place, two sites equipped for the bivouac await the itinerants of the GR 5 on the portion which joins Château-Queyras to Briançon. Easily accessible, Lac de Roue is also a popular place for families during weekends and school holidays.
