As already mentioned several times, there can be long waiting times for the climb, as a maximum of 4 people are allowed on the tower. To be honest, I'm used to higher observation towers. If the Hohneck is one of the most famous peaks in the Vosges Mountains, it's certainly thanks to the superb scenery of the Wormspel valley, which lies just a short distance away. The valley offers a breathtaking panorama of Lake Schiessrothried and the Wormsa Valley.

Unfortunately, on a weekend you may have to wait in line for ONE(!) hour to get to the tower. The tower is only permitted for a few people at a time.
