The Château de Nainville-les-Roches made the headlines in the national media at the beginning of 2009 when the State sold it to an individual who planned to build a hotel complex. This project will ultimately not be carried out, the castle will be abandoned and subject to damage. The former property of the Duke of Rovigo (1774-1833), Napoleon's lieutenant, was used for forty years by the Ministry of the Interior to accommodate students from the great French fire brigade school, called Ensosp . The castle, rebuilt in the style of Louis XIII in 1920, contained many small rooms for student officers. Its small spaces are being redeveloped to offer around twenty exceptional rooms for guests of private ceremonies which will be organized on site in the years to come.
