Excellent hike with views of the Belledonne mountains and, if the weather is good, Mont Blanc. The climb to the Moucherotte is not particularly demanding, but the hike is very scenic and the view from the summit is a highlight. On the way down, you can take a detour over the dilapidated ski jump from the 1968 Olympics.

In the morning you will have a sunrise over Belledonne if the clouds leave you alone and in the evening a complete view of the city. Ideal for a very early morning outing before work when road traffic is very light.

The three Pucelles are rocky needles which dominate Grenoble at the entrance to the Vercors. According to legend, these are the three daughters of the Lord of Naves who were transformed into stone by Charlemagne.

Magnificent view of the Chartreuse, the Mont Blanc, Belledonne, the Oisans further south up to the Col de Luz la Croix Haute, without forgetting the Vercors itself! Thank you Marco and Paulo, the bench was perfect for the picnic this afternoon, and we actually saw your signatures!

Its name comes from the stay of Jean-Jacques Rousseau in Grenoble during the summer of 1768, where the philosopher had come to pick plants. It is a valley located on the foothills of the Vercour massif.
