Excellent hike with views of the Belledonne mountains and, if the weather is good, Mont Blanc. The climb to the Moucherotte is not particularly demanding, but the hike is very scenic and the view from the summit is a highlight. On the way down, you can take a detour over the dilapidated ski jump from the 1968 Olympics.

The three Pucelles are rocky needles which dominate Grenoble at the entrance to the Vercors. According to legend, these are the three daughters of the Lord of Naves who were transformed into stone by Charlemagne.

Very nice section between Lans and St Nizier. Visually very beautiful. Parts in the shade (unlike the Lans section towards Villard), and perfect for getting people started on VAE). I recommend. Also on St Nizier there is the old K1 springboard of the 68 Olympics to discover.

Magnificent view of the Chartreuse, the Mont Blanc, Belledonne, the Oisans further south up to the Col de Luz la Croix Haute, without forgetting the Vercors itself! Thank you Marco and Paulo, the bench was perfect for the picnic this afternoon, and we actually saw your signatures!

Hello Komootians! I am pleased to inform you that a year ago my friend (Paulo) and myself (Marco) repaired the bench at the top of Moucherotte (under the orientation table, east side). And we signed our work. We invite you to go and check on the spot while taking full advantage of the beautiful and vast panorama that you have when you sit on this bench... A+ PS: we suggest that you climb Moucherotte by its eastern side, stopping at the Vallier cave on the way.
